The Moody Moon

“In this series, I explore the many faces behind the moody phases of the moon. Science says humans react to subtle changes in the Earth’s magnetic field that occur with the Moon phases. The Moon exerts a strong gravitational pull that causes the changing tides in our oceans and seas. Because of this gravitational pull, strongest during the full and new moon phases, you may feel tension, heightened emotions, and extra energy as these opposite energies of the positions of the sun and the moon pull on you. The face of the "Man in the Moon" illusion may have been created by powerful asteroid impacts that shook this space rock billions of years ago, but that hasn’t stopped cultures the world over from reading moods and personal meaning into that face or phase of the moon.”
