Pauline's Stump was painted as a commission for a client who used to run past this stump as a part of her fitness regimen. Health issues forced her to stop running, but she missed seeing the sun filter through the leaves of the forest onto this majestic old tree stump, so she commissined me to paint this beautiful stump. It is 36" x 36"/ 91.44 x 91.44cm on gallery canvas, painted in the acrylic medium.
