This piece started out as an addition to my In Transit exhibit at the Art Gallery of Peterborough, but it turned into a collage of gratitude towards my sister, Christine Wallace, a very talented artist and musician, and her Scottish-Canadian man, my brother-in-law, also a musician, Daniel Gilmartin, both in the painting, and their/our very cool friend, Renee Allen. They produced all of the sound elements for our second in the series of sight and sound art exhibitions. They also provided many of the photo transfer images within this piece. This piece of artwork incorporates Encaustic, image transfer, collage, mixed media and oil stick.
